Abstract In situ stress is a significant rock mechanics parameter, which widely used in many aspects of the petroleum industry. Horizontal an important part stress. Hence, how to obtain accurate information as horizontal can vary with azimuth has been explored. A new prediction method for on plane proposed here. This analyses relationship between seismic data, fracture orientation and field.
